Gay Militia Movement Scores Major Electoral Victory
They're arming themselves for the Sexuality War, and they aren't taking any prisoners

The fall-out from last November's elections is still reverberating across Washington state. It seems clear that the big winners, when all is said and done, were the well-heeled backers of the Gay Militia Movement across the Pacific Northwest who outspent their opponents 2 to 1. The fact is, we find ourselves living in confused and bewildering times. For years to come, scholars will no doubt ponder exactly why it was that Washington state voters turned out in droves to defend the rights of every gay man, woman and child to maintain fully loaded and unlocked hand guns in their homes while at the same time protecting an employer's right to fire gay people on the basis of their sexual orientation.

A growing number of concerned heterosexual citizens are beginning to voice their worries over maintaining this well-armed and frequently militant band of citizens who, rumor has it, often cluster in small groups when not out amongst the good straight citizenry. For some years now, rumors have circulated that gay and lesbian militants have been adopting the persona of actual heterosexuals and slipping across the border to train with Idaho militia groups. Many consider the recent defeat of I-676 and I-677 to be nothing less than a conspiracy. That's right, good straight citizens. Many view the recent referendums as a well-orchestrated effort on the part of militant homosexuals to arm themselves while stirring up discontent among their people.

There have been calls across the state, therefore, for all good straight citizens to take the next logical step and deny gay people not only the right to employment, but the right to bear arms. The good straight citizens of Washington state have already affirmed that these people are not equal to straight folks when it comes to employment. So why give them "special rights" when it comes to firearms? Indeed, by including these people under our current gun laws are we not effectively condoning their anti-heterosexual ways?

The agenda of the non-traditional fornicators is clear! Include us in your gun laws and bit by bit we will gain a foothold in your straight society. These people should no more have "special rights" to own a gun than they should have the "special right" not to be fired from a job. The depth of peril posed by the Gay Militia Movement in Washington state cannot be underestimated. In this regard, lessons from other states - though not widely reportedly - are quite informative.

In February, 1993, in Dornan, Idaho, the FBI uncovered a cache of weapons with enough firepower to hold off the state police. Said an FBI special agent at the time, "All I have to say is that straight America had better wake up. These gay and lesbian militia folk mean business. They're arming themselves for the coming Sexuality War, and they aren't taking any prisoners." Six months later in Helms, Alabama, six deputies were killed when they rushed the compound of the Queer Assassins League. The standoff lasted eleven months until, in a still controversial move, the New York Times agreed to print the paranoid rantings of their mysterious, never-identified leader. Causing even greater controversy was the agreement of Helms County to play a tape of the mad leader over the intercom system of its elementary schools. Who can forget the message's chilling conclusion: "All Breeders Must Die, Now!"

The danger of a well-armed, military-trained gay rights movement is real. Straight citizens of good conscience must act today. A cross-section of Washington state's good straight citizenry is, therefore, proposing that all current gun laws should apply equally and exclusively to all God-fearing, traditional-fornicating gun owners. Gun stores must retain the right not to sell weapons to non-traditional fornicators. Current non-traditional-fornicating gun owners will be given 30 days to hand over their weapons to traditional fornicators.

But the fact is that passing laws may not be enough. As evidenced above, the Gay Militia Movement across the US has been flaunting local law enforcement for quite some time. Documents seized in raids on Gay Militia compounds have revealed all sorts of bizarre and paranoid beliefs, which question the very authority of state and federal laws. They speak of the Trilateral Commission of Local School Boards conspiring to establish anti-gay curricula, IRS schemes to penalize non-heterosexual lifestyles; and, there are the ubiquitous sightings of school buses from the United National Baptists, performing joint exercises with the National Guard. The leaders of the Gay Militia Movement are simply not people who can be reasoned with. They only understand power.

The majority of the those who join this movement tend to be those at the margins of society. Their despair and sense of hopelessness in the face of a bigoted, anti-gay majority across the country makes them easy prey for the fast-talking, diabolical hucksters who have hijacked the Gay Militia Movement. Potential recruits are told that discrimination is somehow wrong and that they are "victims" of an odious, anti-gay society. Before long, the alienated and disheartened recruit, feeling rejected by a predominantly straight world, is lured into the clutches of the Gay Militia Movement's charismatic leaders.
