Seattle Independent Media Coalition
The mission of the Seattle Independent Media Coalition, an alliance of radio, print, internet and TV producers and activists, is to amplify our collective voice by facilitating communication and cooperation between groups, and undertaking projects that increase the participation in, exposure to, and consumption of media produced by the local community.
We see profit-driven, corporate domination of communication channels as a significant barrier to the free flow of information and ideas essential to a truly democratic society. The coalition advocates more public and less corporate control over communications and fosters compelling alternatives to corporate media.

Seattle Independent Film and Video Consortium
The mission of the Seattle Independent Film and Video Consortium (SIFVC) is to provide a networked, symbiotic community of independent film and video curators, promoters, producers, and artists through cross-promotion, collaboration and program-sharing. Through strength in numbers and diligent press-campaigns, the Consortium strives to increase the public awareness of this community while maintaining the individuality of the respective member's programs.
