BAD BUS POETRY

"ADAM"

by Adam Lazowska

Chanting to the thump, thump beat
Around the open bonfire.
People dancing, laughing and shouting,
the drum you hold vibrating beneath
your fingers.
The lemon in the drink you're drinking
Biting your tongue when you drink it.
This is what I think of
When I think of my name.
Everyone playing,
all in the game.

- Live actual poetry as seen on a live actual Metro bus.
